Donald Impeachment

This is great and all, BUUUUUUUT

The inquiry isn’t one sided. Most of the members may have already made up their mind on whether they will impeach but the GOP is able to (and has been) asking questions. Simply because the House isn’t calling Hunter Biden to testify (which is pretty irrelevant to the quid pro quo analysis to start with since the accusation is whether Donald asked for an investigation into the Bidens in exchange for foreign aid not whether Donald had good faith beliefs for doing so) doesn’t mean the inquiry is one sided.

Sailor what do you make of those witnesses who have testified so far? Haven’t even seen many conservatives attacking them substantively. Do you find them credible sources information? If not why?

Let's take a look at the Republican defense.

1. Trump loves Ukraine because he sent them missiles and Obama didn't!
-Ignores the withheld aid and WH meeting.

2. The aid was released and the investigation never happened.
-Aid was only released after whistle blower concerns were revealed.
-WH meeting has still not happened.

3. This is all third party information.
-Those with first-hand knowledge refuse to comply with subpoenas.

Seems like the Democrats have enough to connect dots that Trump took a foreign bribe.

Parnas and Fruman gave Trump an illegal donation. They wanted the ambassador out. Trump slandered her and removed her.

Not difficult.

It’s hilarious that Republicans are desperate to turn Stefanik into a victim. They blatantly attempted to circumvent the rules and got called out and played the victim.

The Republicans are so frustrated that they can't land a jab much less a punch against her.

the "lol at expecting anything from Republicans" is close cousin to "why try?" and is no longer compelling content

please be advised

The “lol” was at asking sailor a question. That dude had never earnestly answered a question in his life.

But to your point, literally the only thing that matters is turnout for Democratic candidates next year. Until then, ain’t nothin gonna happen. Even if folks turnout next year, the senate might be irreversibly broken.

It's amazing how many Republican arguments revolve around Trump's feelings.

Trump's obstruction of justice in the Russia investigation is OK because he was frustrated.

Trump's tweets insulting a woman he fired is OK because he's annoyed with the situation.

Trump's withholding of $100s of millions of aid is OK because he was sad that some Ukrainians criticized him.

It's bizarre and seems like a strong argument that Trump is unfit for the office.
