The Indy Star published a famous alumni bracket based upon the 68 teams in the tournament. They list 6 famous alumni (a starting 5 and 6th man) for each school. Interesting to see who went where (e.g., Ryan Seacrest - UGA; Joe Maddon - Lafayette; Toby Keith - Villanova; Mark Cuban - Indiana; Bill Parcells - Wichita State).

To win the current tourney, they have MD: Larry David, Jim Henson, David Simon (creator of the Wire), Sergei Brin (founder of google), Robin Quivers and Scott Van Pelt beating Georgetown (Bill Clinton; Bradley Cooper among others).

Maya Angelou (not sure if faculty counts)

BTW, hard to see how Harvard does not win: 8 U.S. Presidents including FDR and JFK; Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, Mark Zuckerburg, Conan O'Brien, Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, Henry Kissinger and Ted Kaczyiniski

Minkus
RACNMAC
Ty Walker
Jenna Bush's husband
Melissa Harris-Perry
The dude from Letterman who always wears the WF shirts

What about that dumb bitch who wrote those chick-lit books and then her loser husband got all pissed off when people gave any of them a lukewarm review on Amazon. She's pretty famous.

And Richard Burr is pretty famous to anyone who keeps up with national politics.

I saw Bill Plaschke on campus a few years ago with a tour group. did his kid go here? if so, add them to the list

Ricky Van Zeen of College Humor Fame. By extension, David Cho who helped start Busted Tees
