First Charges Filed in Mueller Investigation

I think Mueller should subpoena Ivanka just to see Trump lose his shit.

I think you should spend a moment of reflection on the thought that you want the FBI to harass a US Citizen, a man’s daughter no less, purely for your enjoyment. Not because you think she can provide any information to uncover some injustice, but just to (understandably) upset another US citizen, her father.

That’s where we’re at in America in 2018.

6 more years fellas

All of a sudden Republicans care about how presidents daughters are treated.

Well they didn't care, but then in 2001 they thought it was a good idea, but changed their minds in 2009, however, they've come back again in 2017.

You know the current president harasses cutizens and private business on a daily basis, right? You know, the most powerful person on the planet, which RJ is not?

Nice double standard you have there.

We have a whole thread about how law enforcement brutally antagonizes citizens. Tintin generally sizes with law enforcement.

Too chickenshit to go on the record defending his political party or president, but pops in to show fake outrage at an obvious joke.

That's where Republican voters are in 2018.

ROBERT MUELLER LIKELY KNOWS HOW THIS ALL ENDS

"We still don’t know the biggest, most important evidence. There’s an ever-growing pile of evidence that exists that hasn’t become public yet. That includes, obviously, the evidence that George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, and Rick Gates all traded to Mueller for their plea deals over the last seven months. Presumably, Mueller considers each defendant’s testimony worthy of trading months—and even years—off of a potential prison sentence, so it seems significant that more than seven months after Mueller “flipped” Papadopoulos, we still haven’t seen a single iota of the evidence he presumably provided to the investigation."

When was that?

When was that?

Since at least Nixon. And I should clarify, the GOP claimed to be the party of national security (tough on communism, terrorism, patriot act, etc) and voters have historically agreed. Whether its policies were actually better for the country than Democrats is very much up for debate. What's not up for debate is that the current Republican Party has abdicated much of its responsibility to protect the country in exchange for votes from Trump's base.

Profiles in cowardice.

They’re “protecting the country” against threats that don’t exist under the guise of threats that do.

But they don’t suffer the consequences of reality. They spend political capital hassling Syrian immigrants or blocking Hondurans from entering the country or deporting immigrants who came here as kids. But when the next actual incident happens, we will just be more afraid and give them more power to keep doing it.
