Trump was too unpredictable, and some unscrupulous people in leadership positions in the FBI, DoJ, the intelligence community, and DoS preferred Hillary, who they assumed would win. They tried to kiss up to her by framing Trump. The framing involved a lot of low behavior by people in high places. When Trump won they had to try to coverup their compromising actions. The motives varied from fears of Trump's unpredictability, advancing/protecting their careers, to money, to hating Trump, or some combination thereof.

Even you don’t sound like you really believe it. Because it is ridiculous. Would you risk your career and put all your credibility on the line to attempt to prevent a presidency because it would be unpredictable? Lol

Yea, what? That’s all you’ve got? Unpredictability? FBI senior officials stood to make money? How? Haha. The plan to advance their careers really backfired; half of them have been fired or demoted. LOL.

WnB’s explanation on the previous page makes far more rational sense dude. Your’s makes none.

They did not think that they were risking anything since Hillary was going to win. (The majority of people thought that; except me. You can look it up.) Indeed, by helping to frame Trump they would get brownie points and career advancement. She had given a pretty strong indication by financing the Steele dossier that she wanted dirt on Trump. People in positions of power make unseamly and unnecessary mistakes more often than you might think. Nixon bugged the dems when he was in a very strong position to be re-elected. It was a dumb move by a pretty smart guy in a strong position that backfired big time when he tried to cover ot up.

You did EXACTLY what I said you would do. I showed you how many people on that list have been interviewed by Mueller's people. Omarosa has information that Mueller is interested in. Brennan has testified to Congress and obviously has information. Each is clearly a potential witness.

But you'll try to dance around it again rather than stating the absolutely obvious that Trump has tried to tamper with, intimidate and threaten witnesses and potential witnesses. There's no way around it.

Again, you'll dance and try to make yourself look "intelligent", but everyone here sees through that ruse. Try to be honest just once.

Sailor, my man. If meddling in elections in support of one candidate over another was a worthwhile means to being promoted in the FBI, it would happen in every election. It’s not plausible, because it is not how promotions work. “Brownie points” with Clinton were nullified when they dropped the hammer on her with the Weiner email announcement days before the election. Also, she had the Steele dossier and didn’t use it. None of your points hold up, it’s just scattershot conjecture.

We already know Comey thought Hillary was going to win so he didn’t think announcing the Weiner emails would hurt her.

Yea, and if sailor’s theory were true, the FBI leadership were a bunch of inept dummies because in trying to get promoted, they got themselves fired or demoted. It makes zero sense.

Trump is worried that if Manafort is convicted of tax evasion and money laundering the POTUS could be next...or after he leaves office.

No one has answered my question - If Trump is convicted in NY State Court, would his post POTUS Secret Service detail have to be housed with him at Sing Sing?
