First Charges Filed in Mueller Investigation

Yep. Telling that the HGToH only cares about corruption on one side of the fence. If Greg Craig and Skadden are diirty, nail them.

DeaconSpam keeps feeling some irresistible urge to demonstrate his ignorance of the facts with every one of his posts. Everyone already knows that you DeaconSpam are a hopeless fool. No need to keep demonstrating it again and again.

Sailors what happens when syphilis goes untreated, really sad in the days of modern medicine.

I’ll add this here to try and help out some of you screamers. I know it’s going to be another tough swallow when you find out that the reportage you trust just served you another turd roll. :)

Here is easily one of the best in the biz:

https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/09/paul-manaforts-guilty-plea/

“There was nothing to be gained for him or Robert Mueller in a second trial.
Paul Manafort’s guilty plea in the District of Columbia makes perfect sense. We’ve been speculating about its likelihood since Manafort was convicted three weeks ago on eight felony counts of bank and tax fraud in the Eastern District of Virginia. There was nothing to be gained for Manafort or Special Counsel Robert Mueller in a second trial.

Naturally, the media are spun up because the plea agreement, which will cap the 69-year-old Manafort’s prison time at ten years, requires Manafort’s cooperation. Anti-Trumpers have visions of the walls closing in on the president. I would counter with what I said after the Virginia convictions:

At this point, it does not appear that Mueller has a collusion case against Trump associates. His indictments involving Russian hacking and troll farms do not suggest complicity by the Trump campaign. I also find it hard to believe Mueller sees Manafort as the key to making a case on Trump when Mueller has had [Richard] Gates — Manafort’s partner — as a cooperator for six months. You have to figure Gates knows whatever Manafort knows about collusion. Yet, since Gates began cooperating with the special counsel, Mueller has filed the charges against Russians that do not implicate Trump, and has transferred those cases to other Justice Department components.

I elaborated that, when it comes to Manafort, Mueller’s focus is not President Trump. It is Russia, “specifically, Manafort’s longtime connections to Kremlin-connected operatives.” This seems consistent with what Manafort’s camp is telling the press. Politico quotes a source close to Trump’s former campaign chairman: “The cooperation agreement does not involve the Trump campaign. . . .There was no collusion with Russia.””

The insanity that none of this happened during Trump's time is simply a lie. Let's take a look:

1. Flynn pleaded guilty to committing crimes while working on the campaign and while in the WH. This happened even Sally Yates told Trump what Flynn had done was doing.

2. Cohen named Trump as directing him to commit crimes during the campaign.

3. Some of the crimes Manafort is guilty of were in allegiance with Russians and while working for Trump.

Only the ignorant, dishonest and truly brainwashed can deny Trump has been tied into crimes.

Trump has no ties to Russia.

https://www.curbed.com/2018/1/12/16885354/trump-condo-money-laundering-report

"More than 1,300 Trump condominiums selling for a total of $1.5 billion since the 1980s were bought by secretive shell companies in all-cash transactions, according to a new, exhaustive BuzzFeed report on President Donald Trump’s real estate dealings.

While such transactions can be made as part of tax strategies or to protect the privacy of buyers, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, issued a brief in August warning that all-cash real estate transactions made by secretive shell companies are a red flag for money laundering.

BuzzFeed reports that these transactions hastened in pace in the late 2000s and early 2010s. In 2008, Donald Trump Jr. was quoted at a real estate conference in New York saying that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of our assets” and “we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

According to BuzzFeed, more than $205 million in sales were made to shell companies originating in countries linked to money laundering—the British Virgin Islands, Panama, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and others. Also, 83 percent of these transactions were in U.S. markets where real estate money laundering is under investigation by FinCEN—Manhattan, South Florida, and Honolulu."

But Trump has said he has had no business with Russians.

Even if it took place before Trump, why did Trump hire someone who had done those things?

It's not like everyone in politics didn't know what a scumbag Manafort is. The first week after his hiring his war criminal client list was public knowledge. Stories about his illegal money practices were also published. Where his money came from was also known.

If you own a shop and borrow $10,000 from the Mafia, you owe them more than the money and the vig. they get other benefits. Putin is the biggest Mafiosi in the world. Do you actually think all Trump owed Putin for the $100,000,000 loan to a bankrupt property is the principal and interest? If you do, I've got a snow ski resort in the Sahara for sale.

That’s funny

Perhaps you could explain to the rest of the numbnuts just how it is - if what you’ve said is true- that the central Democratic strategists, John and Tony Podesta, have a decades long business relationship with Paul Manafort?

Ain’t that the tooth!

Here’s a little piece from Huffingtonpaint to show the swamp ass creatures whose day is next.

Paul Manafort is being told “look, you were playing a game whose rules you didn’t make but you understood. You and many others chose this path. Do you want to be the only person vilified for this type of abuse. You help us to reign in this unfettered practice of lobbying behind the scenes in international affairs needs to be brought to heel. What do say,Paul. Do you want it all around your neck? We can see that you have enough for your wife and children to have close to the comfort they are accustomed and you might be able to plea down to 4-5 years actual time for good behaviour.”

“C’mon Paul..you will testify to your dealings with the others, won’t you?”

https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5b9c2e61e4b046313fbb2867

“Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has, as part of a plea deal, agreed to cooperate with the special counsel investigation led by Robert Mueller. This is likely bad news for President Donald Trump and his 2016 campaign team — but it could also cause problems for a slew of lobbyists and other advocates, including several Democratic operatives.

As part of Manafort’s deal with Mueller, he agreed to testify in any case the government asks him to. Court documents show that high-profile lobbying, public relations and law firms worked quietly with Manafort over the years as he brought in more than $60 million boosting the U.S. image of a pro-Russia political party in Ukraine. And like Manafort, they don’t appear to have registered as foreign agents at the time.“

Bob will try and has attempted to get Manafort to say Trump obstructed Justice. But it is highly unlikely anything like obstruction ever happened.

What it was, however, was an un-dignified firing by the President. It was also a miscalculation by Trump. He thought Comey was irredeemable among Democrats. At the time Democrats we’re blaming the FBI Director for HRC’s loss. Trump wrongly thought the firing was justified in light of Rosenstein’s harsh rebuke of Comey in his recommendation letter in which the Director be relieved of his duties. This fact added to Trump’s mistake of listening to a newbie political kid..the kid is sharp, but he is green. Kushner’s advice to fire Comey while he was away undermined more reasoned voices. It was impulsive and dumb. R’s recognize - through our media lens- that Trump was furious with the Tower surveillance as conveyed to him by Admiral Rogers — a Nov meet which the mainstream press tried to pan and which irked the sister agency heads.

Trump was also taken aback by the surveillance left behind in the White House. Hence his two week absence at the beginning of his term for “repairs”.

Trump was also pissed when long before any public statements were issued at Senate hearings — it was widely reported among sites inclined toward Pubs that Andrew McCabe had left the new HRC revelations on his desk for more than 20 days —a fact confirmed by the IG Horowitz. Trump was rightly suspicious of this delay of game tactic and surely thought Comey was aware McCabe was sitting on them.Trump, having some understanding of media, thought this was a tactic to delay then “hurriedly” deal with the emails in a way in which depth reporting would be prohibitive.Sure enough, the timing of Comey’s unprecedented assumption of AG Powers created such a howl that only a cursory and rushed “clearing of the emails” would be realistic given the time frame. Eventually they’d have to comply with the noisy R constituents demanding what they interpreted as a massive security breach with strange allowances - ie., excuses as to why the DNC would allow Crowdstrike to examine the server but not the FBI. - (note here dear reader that I anticipate all of your excuses as to why the server wasn’t handed over or didn’t need to be — every bogus excuse will be shot in half)

Nevertheless, The President mangled in his firing of Comey. Comey screwed the pooch and Trump could have handled it better even though I understand his frustration with how things have transpired.

** all that ^ being true or false, it’s what I believe to be closer to the truth, and Trump speculation notwithstanding..the Real “Reach” of Mueller will be in these referrals which have Big D and Big R behind-the-scenes targets.

I'm shocked! Shocked that anyone would think that just because most of Trump's top campaign people (who aren't family) have pleaded guilty that anyone would think Trump isn't clean!

No,we just take it as seriously as you take the FBI and DOJ behaviour.

So we are at an impasse..an impossible bridge for either of us to cross. So it seems to me that we have but 2 choices Mr Karl.. (A)We can say “Fuck it” and keep arguing with no end EVER in sight or (B) we say “Fuck it” and go do something productive
