Here's an interesting point of reference about trust. Manafort could have trusted Trump to pardon him with no jail, no fines and keeping his property. Or he could have trusted Mueller, gone to jail, gave up over $45M and has to testify any and every time Mueller demands.

Other than changing the RNC platform for the Russians?

Other than letting off the Russian lawyer's clients for a case of laundering over $220M, tax, evasion and conspiracy with a tiny fine?

Other than Trump getting paid $95M by a Putin buddy for a property listed at $55M that had ZERO offers in a year?

Other than Trump Toronto being financed by Putin's personal bank?

Other than Trump Soho being financed by Russian mob associate Felix Sater?
 
Apparently, Manafort's agreement sets it up that he won't be able to have his attorneys present while be questioned by the FBI or attorneys...
 
If there was any new information it would have come out with last trial. Any “blockbuster revelation” would have come with he and Gates’ testimony. He’s pleading down the 80 years he is facing from that trial.

As is normal for the Dems and their mouthpieces in media..lots of smoke and no burger
 
Yo Lec, if Trump only hires the best people, why did hire an obvious crook like Manafort (and all the others)? If Obama’s campaign manger struck a plea deal with the Feds for criminal activity, would you hold Obama accountable? Asking for a friend. Thanks!

Why did the Justice Department in 2009 decline to prosecute the Manafort referral?

If you want to talk about politically motivated hits then we can do that. For Manafort to be prosecuted with such zeal and his primary partners effectively walled off from investigation is ridiculous. Of course his partners were top Democrat operatives the Podesta brothers. Paul is getting what he is getting because he dared to buck the establishment and help Trump with his delegate struggles during the campaign. Never T’s reviled Manafort’s betrayal and so he is getting a good bus rolling.

But the hit is pure political theatre. It works well when you have a malleable DC press corps to feed the yarns
