Oh, one other random note: this very morning, through a friend, I heard someone close to WFU, is walking around saying this re: Manning:
"Manning has been so unlucky. He lost so many guys to transfers, Europe and the NBA. It's been hard, as this past year he had to start a few freshmen and the team was so young."
As in this guy has a real job, and works/worked at Wake (?), and not only believes that, but is saying that publicly.
Why am I not buying that argument?
