Hang it! (Alondes Williams ACC POY, 1st Team All-ACC)

No. But I certainly was glad he stayed at the time. That doesn’t change what we did under Skip—the numbers just ain’t pretty.

The reality for Prosser and Forbes is that we didn’t give them the home court to bring in the players to get over the hump and actually achieve things. The fault is ours.
So dumb

i think having one of the 3 best point guards of all time at wake for 2 years during the one and done era is pretty sweet

Let's start gathering Board commitments for a new stadium/improvements to the Joel. Lay out the specifications (or demands) and get commitments from posters who vow to donate the funds immediately upon announcement that the project is going to be undertaken. I would be down for $5,000 or so.

Stop feeding this petty Troll. Isn’t there enough opportunity to vent on the UCincinnati boards??

DR is obsessed with gym size. It’s all he ever talks about. Joel OCD. And a Duke fan at heart. Prob posting
from California.

Yea maybe don’t hang it after all. But definitely put some sort of banner up recognizing his ACC POY season.

The sad reality for us is we are back to square one on getting folks interested. So few from our end watched tonight. We literally had 8 fans here in College Station. We needed to be in the NCAA so bad for recruiting reasons.

We continue to need way more reflection on our basketball program in general. We should get everything right, not frantically call for retiring jerseys and then everyone disappear. Our stadium is a giant obvious problem. It's way past time to replace it.

I sat in a stadium tonight at a school with 55K undergrads. Their home on campus arena is smaller than ours. They have 10x the number of students we do. It's just a basic numbers game and we need to get the stadium right, and any other holes we have out there. We have a likable Coach at this point so we obviously stick with him.

At the end of the day we just don’t have all that many folks actually invested in our basketball team. Folks just move on and the players see that and treat it the same.

We have Mit and about 10 of us actually committed to the mens team and willing to actually show 20 times a year. The rest prefer football. It is what it is.

"folks move on" ? "Folks move on"?? Seriously? It's the players moving, not us. Not at all so with football.

DR a bigger problem is that CB kind of sucks now. So is it really wise to invest so much money in a sport that only matters for a few weekends in March?

Yes, you have identified the WF mentality about college basketball. At least you own it. We don't prioritize it. On to getting hyped for football season.

Thank heavens Donald Ross and 10 others are here to fund our basketball program
