Hmm?
I don't care to look at the numbers, but I'd wager that [Redacted] has won more sub-5 point games than he has lost at Wake Forest.
Record in games within 5 points (including 5)
2012: 4-2 (Wins: Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Yale, High Point; Losses: Wofford, Dayton)
2011: 3-2 (Wins: Iowa, UNCG, UVA; Losses: Presbyterian (lol), Miami)
So of the 19 wins [Redacted] has at Wake, 7 have been by 5 points or less. Of the 38 losses, only 4 have been within 5 points, and only 8 have been in single-digits. Which leaves.....
[Redacted] has coached 57 games at Wake and in 30 of them we have lost by double-digits
Games decided by 5 points or less: 7-4 (3-2 in 2011, 4-2 in 2012)
Games decided by single digits: 12-8 (4-4 in 2011, 8-4 in 2012)
Games decided by double digits: 7-30 (4-20 in 2011, 3-10 in 2012)
So breaking it down even further:
7-4 in games decided by 5 points or less
5-4 in games decided by 6-9 points
3-10 in games decided by 10-14 points
3-6 in games decided by 15-19 points
1-14 in games decided by 20+ points (Marist is the only win by 20 we have)
This is just awful.
