Hyperloop - SF to LA in 30 minutes

played some "ticket to ride" this weekend. they should just copy that map.

bit of a difference if you're in something going mach 1 that's based on zero friction

what's the difference

If you introduce something that moves with no friction to friction at a speed of 600 miles per hour, bad things. Absent an overpass falling on your head, you barely feel an earthquake when driving in a car.

shouldnt something with no friction feel less than a car with lots of friction

I'm making the assumption that moving the things violently and unexpectedly will unexpectedly cause friction

Why are we talking about earthquakes?

If a big enough one hits, people will die

I guess dying at 600mph is the best way to go, aint gonna feel a thing

lol at the transportation system map. No Boston, but they got that congested Spokane to Boise corridor covered.

I guess there's no station within 6 hours of Winston because the last thing here called The Loop failed.

If they have a major earthquake, then the 4 people actually using the train will probably die, as will 1000s more not using it.
