I remember watching the Deacs a lot on TV in the mid 1980s, with Foy White at QB and Topper Clemmons and Michael Ramseur in the backfield. According to this chart, Clemmons and Ramseur, who played together from 1982-1985, amassed over 5700 yards rushing combined. That is pretty stout.

Yep- that was during my time at MSD with Al Groh at the helm and they were fun to watch even though the W-L record wasn't impressive.

That sounds awful. I thought it was a dispute with a professor not about an advisor/school mishap. Interesting.

I've had a recurring dream of a Calculus course I've forgotten to teach all semester.

Definitely looks like the athletic program screwed up. Guess Dan Collins is too good to just call up a player and ask what happened.
