Never heard of Debbie Schlussel before. What a miserable human being. Does she really appear on Fox? Still think Rush is worse. Sadly support for Trump's hateful rhetoric shouldn't be all that surprising.

1) they aren't trolls if they are genuine.

2) Fox News panders to people like that. They are in many ways responsible for the hatred and general intolerance their audience so vocally espouses.

You must have missed the tweet from Fox News.

For some reason, they didn't seem to harp on that. Perhaps because it wasn't about his cancer at all, but just something that mentioned him in passing and that the author apparently thought was poorly timed.

Back to the subject of the thread, it sucks for Carter, but it's also pretty amazing that he has gone this long without serious health issues. He has had a good run and a full life. Another of that generation that is quickly disappearing. I hope that he goes peacefully and with minimal pain.
