Kelly was supposed to be the Boy Scout in this office has shown himself to be below pond scum.

Any one of these events should have been enough to be fired in any WH. To not yet be gone reinforces how immoral Trump is.

When Kelly called the mother and widow of Sgt. David liars, he should have been fired on the spot. His actions were unconscionable. This disgraced the uniform he had worn and those he commanded.

To make matters worse, he doubled down to blatantly and intentionally lie about Congresswoman Wilson's actions at the dedication of a Miami FBI building. Even after he was proven to have lied about that, this piece of shit wouldn't even say he was wrong, much less apologize.

His statement about dreamers two days ago were reprehensible. Given that he refused to admit he went overboard or misspoke, any other modern POTUS would have fired him. But he was speaking for Trump's position and thus wasn't.

For many months, Kelly has known about the spousal abuse by Rob Porter and done nothing. Over the past twenty-four hours, Kelly has defended and went to bat for Porter to continue in his position at the WH. Even after the picture of Porter's ex-wife with a black eye, Kelly still defended keeping Porter on his staff with a desk very near the Oval Office.

Kelly was allegedly a man of honor. Most of us hoped he could help our nation. If he has any honor left, he should resign upon arriving at the WH Thursday AM, because we know Trump won't do the right thing.

He can be caught on camera punching a baby and you still want him running daycare in the oval office

yeah, Kelly has disgraced himself with his time in the WH. now he is just another cronie sucking off the Donald's tit.

The more time you spend with Donald Trump, the less of a decent human being you become. John Kelly is a shell of the man he used to be.

He really has made himself look bad in the last two weeks. And they were all totally self made errors mainly by using charged language when it was not even necessary to make his point.

Agreed. That said, we're still probably safer if he stays where he is. He's still 1 of the few relative adults in the cabinet.

Is this the first time the Trump White House has ever showed an ounce of humility?

White House says it 'could have done better' regarding Porter allegations

yeah, rahj shah is gonna be the next one fired after he got in front of cameras and said something that was ...true

edit: after reading more about today's presser, it seems that Shah lied his ass off so never mind about him being fired.

Kelly is yet another asshole who feels free to be an asshole under Trump.

That Kelly isn't gone already proves the moral depravity of this White House and this POTUS.

"When I was a kid growing up a lot of things were sacred in our country,” Kelly said. “Women were sacred and looked upon with great honor. That’s obviously not the case anymore as we’ve seen from recent cases."

No you're right. Looks like he's going to get fired for not lying more.

Points awarded to SCD.

Hope your decision to carry water for Trump was well worth it Mr. Hatch.

Anybody else find it strange the extent to which the Trump administration is defending some guy nobody outside the White House had heard of 48 hours ago?

They could have just thrown him under the bus and moved on and nobody would have remembered it by Friday. And they're doing this as the government is prepared to shutdown again.

So, he knows something Trump doesn't want us to know.
