This. The breadth of the storm was incredible but it wasn't nearly as bad as expected.
 
Sure it could've been worse. Although I imagine Orlando and Jacksonville residents likely aren't thinking about that right now.

so a week ago, scientists predicted that this storm would travel west to somewhere just south of florida, then turn north. people are calling it FAKE because the scientists were off by approximately 100 miles on where it would turn north?

We were talking about FL. Obviously the Caribbean was demolished.
