man both these teams are lol bad at free throws, gonna hurt both come tourney time i think

Yeah he's really really improved. Beyond him though they have nothing as far as the 3 pt game goes. That's why they really need Hairston/McDonald back.
 
whew, that harrison kid was playing his heart out for kentucky though.
 
There's no question now that Kentucky's recruiting class was overrated. They could still make some noise in the tournament, but not much more than a top 20-25 team right now.

like all cal teams, they'll get better as the season goes on. that title team had the right mix of freshman studs and vet talent. no doubt they will drub UF in Rupp at the end of the season.

There's a real good chance that Cal never puts together as good a talent combination as he did that season. There may be 5 or 10 one and dones every year, but only 1 or 2 of those are elite defenders. Cal had 2 elite, dog defenders on that title team, and he's got none on this team.
 
UK doesn't even try to play defense. Just a shameful display on the defensive side of the ball. Laughable how weak that effort was.

Dukie V makes what are otherwise good games unwatchable. UNC has had an interesting 1st couple of months - they can beat and lose to anyone. As for Hairston, if a Dick, UNC or KY player committed murder, he'd still want to see the NCAA let the poor kid play.

This killed me. At least three times he talked about the "injustice" that PJ Hairston was experiencing from the NCAA. Just laughable.
