Lobo doesn't trust Price

This staff has always been hesitant to take the reigns off of a QB. They never meshed with Mauk, who ended up being a decent college QB in his one year at Cincy.

Yeah but it's not just Camp. He forced at least two throws to Reynolds yesterday and had Camp open. I sometimes he makes his decision before the ball is even snapped. Probably figures he isn't going to have time to think, so he decides where he's going with the ball.

This is dead on!

What's the explanation for the 3rd-and-long draws that we've been subjected to for the rest of the Lobo era?

I remember when Tanner locked onto his first receiver back in 2011 (ya know, the only year he has had a decent supporting cast) and he completed 83 passes to Givens, 73 to Camp, 36 to Dembry, and 20 to Terrance Davis.

Tanner is just fine when surrounded by talent. Simple as that. Surround him with an O line that sucks and all you get is a 55% completion percentage and a 5-2 TD-INT ratio.

Price doesn't exactly help out his OL. A good QB that eludes some pressure and buys time and makes plays will slow down the pass rush. A QB with deer in headlights look will make a pass rush look better than it appears.
