Louisville Game Time - 7:30 ACCN

That last onside kick was beautiful. Like trying to recover a super ball
 
The play calling was also very conservative early in the 4th. We had that holding on first down backed up at the 10 and just ran it for 2 yards over two plays setting up a 3rd and 18 (which I believe was the second blatant hold on Hinton after the int miscall).

It's amazing how money our offense when we Clawson just lets go of the reins and just tries to score.
 
It doesn’t really matter but I rewatched the last onside kick three times and it’s wake’s ball. No doubt about it. Dont let it come down to that sure. But when it did we had the ball.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen an onside kick reviewed, much less overturned. Sounds like they were to o chicken to set the precedent. I’d rather it not even be reviewable if there’s is no chance they’ll overturn it.
 
Wake post game radio show also said that. Wonder if the personal foul on L had an effect on possession. Did the late hit jar the ball lose from CBS?
 
Clawson postgame available on WF FB Twitter. Worth a watch. Takes full responsibility for team not showing up. Also says CBS came out of pile with ball and had ball on replay. Does not understand call.
 
So many emotions tonight. I’m just numb now. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
 
I'm with Richt- CBS recovered the onside kick and we were robbed by the zebras of an exciting game end.

Still can’t believe they made that call. I thought Louisville must have had it at the end as that’s the only logical explanation, but I just hope we never have this crew again. Amazed a home team getting screwed on so many questionable calls.
 
Clawson should’ve just kept ripping on the refs about the last onside until he was ejected. Nothing else to lose at that point.
 
I love the Claw, just a stand up guy. This is a game where special teams played the pivotal role and HAS to be fixed!
 
Refs have a van outside the our home gate that they jump in and take off with an escort after the game. Would have been a good night to close the gate. Cowards. The Washington replay call in the first half and thr inside kick call prove that the only qualification for being an official is having enough breath to blow a whistle. New favorite Clawson quote is after the game on the radio. Stan asked him if he had ever had a team recover 2 onsides kicks in a game. He said yes tonight.
 
Love Dave Clawson even more after the post-game. Wake was screwed and Clawson cleverly makes that obvious in his comments.

Also agree I’m fine with him making the refs eject him at the end. Inexcusable in that scrum that we don’t get the football when CBS leaves the pile with it. That wasn’t a replay issue. That was a call on the field fuck up. The refs sucked tonight and we should send tons of film to league office especially on PI missed calls. Having said that clawson is right and manned up. We lost because we didn’t show up. Double sucks.
