Manning's small ball is not working!

Guys, nobody is saying Moore is the second coming of Duncan or Collins, but so far, Moore(shooting at 84%) appears to be a better option for additional shot attempts than Crawford(37%), Childress(39%), or Wilbekin(33%).

Have any of these 3 guards made 11 shots in a row?
Moore is averaging 10 and 8 in 19 mpg and people act like he is Stan Washington

I fear we have guys who shoot really in a shoot-around with no one guarding them, but when the horn sounds and there's a hand in their face or they have to fire off a quick shot under pressure, they shoot like 50 year old YMCA players?

At any rate, considering both offense and defense, the guards are the weakest part of our team thus far. Maybe that will change...hope so.

Pretty astounding how many guards we've had like that over the years.

Excellent game plan by the coaches on both ends and the players executed well. Best game by Crawford this season, by Brandon too.

By far, the best game Manning has coached at Wake and a great game by Crawford and Childress.

Manning's substitution patterns, for the first time, made sense and his use of the zone was the turning point in the game.

I still would have liked to have seen more touches by the big men. This approach not only gets them more shots but opens up the offense and creates better shots for the guards by first passing the ball inside.

Again, not to beat a dead horse, but it is important to note that Moore set the school record by making his first 5 shots and running his field goal streak to 16 breaking the record previously held by Teachey and Visser. Moore raised his field goal percentage for the year to .842. He has now missed only 6 out of 38 attempts for the year.

Another unknown big man option may be Sarr. He is never an offensive option since he is never passed the ball and only has 6 shot attempts in 6 games.
