Damn sounds like RJ knows that Currie had Beilein locked up until they got to the money portion of the negotiation. You can't blow it with Beilein and turn around and hire Odom's kid.

That can't be so. A number of people here say I have known anything about anything. Aren't they right?

He didn’t have a great run at Michigan, but it wasn’t terrible. He has a resume similar to Shaka, just with more stops. He’s not even one of my top 3 options, but I wouldn’t be upset if he were the guy.

I'd be upset. Worst hire, imo, among the rumored top candidates...Matta, Forbes, Kelsey, Miller, Turner all would make me happier. He's a Dukie and mediocre.

His resume is nothing close to Shaka's. Shaka went to multiple tourneys and made a final four at VCU.

Heard from a tier 2 source at UNCG that Miller met with the team today and told them that he was returning. There was interest from Wake, but no indication if Wes turned the opportunity down or Wake is moving forward with another candidate.

Like bird shit on car, RJ'S all over the place.
So money wasn't an issue. Then it was.
Chaundee left. Beilien isn't interested.
Just admit you're speculating and could be wrong.
Fucking fabulist.

By all accounts Matta is a better person than a coach.

FWIW, tOSU alums I know think Wake is a good match for Matta. Small. private school works for him since he has coached at Butler and Xavier. A rebuild means there is no pressure to win an immediate national championship, just build toward one. He is an intense, driven coach whose performance and health improves if he can relax and smell the roses occasionally.

Skipping beyond the drama.... so, do we KNOW that it was a money issue with Beilein? If so, HOW do we know this? Has this been confirmed?

Trying to catch-up on things.

Interesting.

If Amaker is announced as next coach, Currie should hand in his resignation. We all know he would be the Hatch hire. Keep Hatch out of the room.

HOF Wes didn't turn Wake down to stay at UNCG.

We don't know anything.

It's just RJ trying to give his guesses an authoritative air. He doesn't know either.

You can't possibly be this stupid. Can you?

You are the sports board version of sailor. Are you related to 2&2? Nah, he's even more intelligent than you.

You need to chill a bit. Carrying this much hate is harmful to your health.

Dude. It's all in your posts. Beard even collected them for us.

Troll.

Interesting.

DR should be able to confirm.

But I think Miller would have also been one most likely to come with a step by step plan based upon that one article that talked about the changes he got the admin to do at UNCG

Beilein out due to $$$$. He wanted too much.

If they gave him a lot, when we replace him in 4-7 years, the next guy would want to paid close to the same amount.

:bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

Ok, so we had Beilein and then he asked for too much $$ so Currie said peace out. Wes has told the team he is back meaning he was not offered the job. This would conclude that Currie is already done and has decided on the next coach. Announcement tomorrow?
I've enjoyed Chill's two day run as coach better than almost any two days the past 10 years.

You have no interest in any possible civil discussions and are destroying the rest of us having on ongoing one.
