New iphone - apps I must have?

Got a new iphone (might have posted this before but I can't remember). What apps do I need to check out? Includes games, social media, optimization, etc.

I already have the basics (Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.).

I'm going to ask another related question. How do you folks carry your iPhone around?

I've always just had a simple flip phone that I can carry in my front pants pocket. Just got my first smart phone (an iPhone) and all the shiny glass is so pretty I just don't want it to get scratched up, etc.

So...do you use a case or just a skin or bumper? And do you carry it in your pocket or what?

The first app you need is AppShopper. It tells you all the new and sale apps on the app store.

Then, you need Words with Friends.
