NFL 2020-2021 Season Superbowl LV: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, QB Tom Brady Champs!

Falcons 28-34 overall after losing to Tom Brady since blowing lead to Pats and losing SB by score of 28-34. Lol poetic af.

As a Jags fan, I’m ecstatic.

As a Jags fan, I expect them to screw it up.

Jags weren't remotely trying to win yesterday. Throw in Chi playing much better recently and Ind needing to win the last week to get a playoff position, and you should be golden. Now let's see who you bring in as GM and coach.

FWIW, possible that the Jets may win again.

The Jets finish the year against the Patriots. Given the way the Patriots are playing and the fact NE is now eliminated from the playoffs for the first time in 12 years, not beyond the realm that the Jets pull that one out too. Not sure who would win the tie breaker between the Jets and Bengals for the 2nd pick (assuming JAX loses out).

Darnold, Gase, and plenty of others are trying to keep their jobs. They don’t care about getting Trevor Lawrence.

Jesse Bates got a mention in the newspaper's two sentence write-up of tonight's game between the Bengals and Steelers.

Cin tied Phi earlier this year, so NYJ would still have the #2 pick. And everyone is assuming, likely rightly so, that Cin is taking Sewell, the Oregon OT. So the #2 pick is a referendum on Fields. Do you think he's that much better than Lance and the others? If so, NYJ can get a big ransom for the #2. If not, the pick won't be worth much of a ransom. I'm gonna need NFL offseason intrigue to help me get through Feb-Apr.

Can we make Jax and Jets play each other during a play-off weekend? It would be hilarious to see two teams try so hard not to win.

Actually, since Darnold doesn’t want to lose his job, and having the Lawrence pick is the only surefire way that would happen, he’d be playing out of his mind. Some of his receivers might not work too hard to get open though.

If the Washington Football Team (-2.5) beats Carolina and if the Giants (+10.5) lose to the Ravens, the WFT clinches the NFC East. Hard to believe that WFT could not only make the playoffs, but clinch early.

Carolina could be in danger of winning that game if Haskins is starting. Probably safe to lose if Smith starts. Could be single digits for each side with Haskins. First safety wins.

WFT could be a good team before long with that front 4 if they can find the right QB this offseason. Seattle's 20 is the most that any team has put up against them in the last 5 games.

Jacksonville has to be the most attractive job open. #1 pick. Plenty of draft picks and huge cap space.

Former Jet season ticket holder for almost 40 years. Couldn't handle an 0-16 season, so I for one was glad they won.

I'm also a Darnold fan and with Gase gone, a ton of solid picks and a bundle under the cap, I'm optimistic.

(Then again, I use to think that golf was the most aggravating thing I did.)

I could get understand if the Jets would be the first 0-16, but it’s happened a couple other times in recent years so I wouldn’t call it as much of a black eye on the franchise if it had happened. I’d be bummed to lose out on Trevor Lawrence.

Jessie Bates didn’t make the initial Pro Bowl roster.

Got to admire the Jags and Panthers for committing to the full tank unlike the Jets and Bengals who are out there messing with people's survivor pool.

(Note: The Cowboys and Falcons just suck and just can't help it.)

I guess; the guy could be one of the best. But you never know and I’m comfortable trading down and filling the dozen holes we have on our roster.

How much would a Jets/Bengals parlay have netted you this weekend?

Are the Steelers just planning to lose out?

I don't think that's the plan, but it's likely their reality. They have a real mess on their hands. Their OL, which I think is only down 1 starter at G, is getting no movement in the running game and isn't giving Ben much time. And I think both OTs are in contract years. Ben looks old and beaten down. And they've kicked his salary cap hit down the road to the point where he's under contract next year for like $41mil. I'm guessing their original idea was to extend him a year and let him retire after 2022. But from what we've seen this year, would you still want him to be your QB for 2 > years? They're going to make the playoffs instead of the Ravens or Dolphins and will have a pick in the 20s - not high enough to draft a legit QB. Not sure how they extricate themselves from this mess.

How much would a Jets/Bengals parlay have netted you this weekend?

From ESPN: A $100 money-line parlay on the Bengals (+750) and Jets (+1,000) would've paid around $10,200. Sportsbooks kicked ass this past weekend (as they typically do):

The Bengals' win over the Steelers was expensive for some bettors. A customer with William Hill's sportsbook in Iowa on Monday placed a $51,371.21 money-line bet on Pittsburgh to beat Cincinnati straight-up at -1,100 odds. The bet would've paid a net $4,670.11.

Prior to kickoff, 86% of the money bet on the point spread was on the Steelers at William Hill sportsbooks around the nation, and 90% of the dollars wagered on the money-line was riding on Pittsburgh. That money will be staying with the sportsbooks
