Wherever Uncle Sam sends me.
(Not meant to overlook NC State, which I'd argue is a much more important game to us as it gets us bowl eligible)

But, in prep for traveling to ND next week, I'm looking at appropriate apparel:

Leaning towards the Rudy shirt...

I need to get to South Bend from Chicago on Friday night. I looked itt up the train schedule and it seems like I can get there for around 10 dollars to anybody know if this is true or not?

Yes, I'm not sure exactly the price, but around that.

Man, the Wake tailgate tickets went QUICK.

Mom and Pops are making the trek to South Bend for the game and from what they described it's going to be on a booze filled party train. Sounded pretty sweet so i'm pretty jelly. Any of you Deacs doing that?

The transit site says that it's $11 each way, pp. I've been told they they run additional trains on game day that are not published. I'm tempted to just rent a car for the day for flexibility.

Where is everyone staying? Deacondad68 and I are staying at the Congress Plaza Hotel at Grant Park for $125 a night...not bad...

We are renting a 12 person Limo Van from Chicago - that will get us to the parking area - and shuttle it to the tailgate.

I've been told that the train leaves 90 minutes after the game ends.

I have the complete Deacon Club package which includes 2 nights at Westin, House of Blues party, train to and from, tailgate and game ticket. Don't think I'm going to be able to go. $500. Will throw in roundtrip USAir out of Charlotte Friday Morning returning Sunday evening for $200.

Jealous. I have a ticket but no means of getting there. BOOOOOO.

Are you flying into Chicago Doofus?

Taking the jet to South Bend.
Should be a Great ass whooping ! But the food is Great and the wine is fine !

Did the full package, looking forward to this booze train. I have two extra tickets I'm selling, PM me if interested.

Don't sit next to me.

I'm in with a couple domers. South bend all weekend. I'm aiming to be drunk the entire time to ease the pain.
