He better earn that shit. This offseason has been a joke. Kawhi is still injured. The team is still old. They drafted two olds (old for draft picks). Murray doesn't seem to have progressed enough.

Meanwhile, everyone in the top of the West got better except the Jazz.
 
Even with the last year only 7mm guaranteed it still seems like a shitload to pay an older less productive player. Seems like doubling down on a questionable signing. Not very Spurs like

I'd roll the dice on LMA for cousins in a heartbeat.

LMA's issue is effort. He pouts and quits. He was being backed down by harden in the play offs. Harden.
He forgets to post up and just shoots long jumpers rather than starting inside and working himself out. If he agreed to play center most of his minutes it could work out... I guess.

Spurs pay old guys loyalty contracts.
