At least Thom Tillis should be happy. Shortly after he was elected he told a reporter that the FDA should be abolished, as it wasn't needed, because the free market would ensure that grocery stores and restaurants served sanitary food. Teddy Roosevelt and Upton Sinclair must have been spinning in their graves.
 
People always seem to forget that we went the no regulation route in the past. Government regulations are almost never proactive. They are set up when businesses are so out of control that restrictions are required for public safety, and then often to the bare minimum standards.
 
Schoettle was found guilty of rape, sodomy and other sexual crimes and sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2018.

Schoettle isn't the only convicted child rapist who found support from Bevin, a fact that initially led to some confusion during the radio interview.

Asked why he wouldn't leave the case of child rape for the next governor to consider, Bevin requested clarification.

"Which one, though? Because there were a couple of people that were accused of that whose sentences I commuted," Bevin said.

Yesterday the President suggested that one of the most respected people in congress is in hell and today the former voice of the Administration makes fun of a former VP for a stutter. And Christians continue to applaud.

Yep. There’s a huge double standard. Democrats are expected to respect Republicans. It’s OK if Republicans mock and demean Democrats.
