Jared really gave away so much when he spoke at the press conference last week. He actually said out loud that Trump provided supplies to certain hospitals after being asked by his friends.

And when he said the federal stockpile was "our stockpile," it wasn't a gaffe or a slip up, it's what they believe. The federal stockpile, along with all other tools of the federal government, are Trump's to be used as he sees fit, generally in ways that he thinks will help win elections.

So they stole 500 ventilators from Colorado and put on a show to make it look like Cory Gardner and McSally are working hard to get ventilators from Trump.

But recent reports have suggested Trump has been playing politics with the allocation of medical supplies. CNN broke news last Friday that the federal government swooped in and blew up a deal that Colorado’s state government, led by Democratic Gov. Jared Polis, made with a private company to acquire 500 ventilators. FEMA, instead, seized the ventilators for itself, leaving Colorado high and dry.
“A congressional source told CNN that many of the orders Colorado places for supplies, including an order for 500 ventilators, has been canceled, because the items are being bought by FEMA,” CNN reported.
