Official Trump Swamp Thread: Still Corrupt as Fuck

That "noble" Joe Biden during his 40+ year political career:

Biden's older brother was involved in Iraq when Obama was president. He somehow got a contract for $1.5 billion to build housing in Iraq, even though he never even built a shed in his entire life. He failed at the contract and was released but only after collecting quite a few million and never producing a single house.

Biden's younger brother was involved in some fraudulent schemes in Florida and basically had to flee the country. He emerged in some Central American country running an energy company scheme using USA funds from a grant given to the third world country. He apparently milked all the funds from that without producing a single watt of energy.

Biden's sister has been involved with every campaign Joe has had, and has used campaign funds to fund her own lavish lifestyle. Each time she was investigated, somehow the investigation got stopped.

You have to really love a family that screws everyone they can with such vigor. Yep, great guy, that Joe.
Remember, Obama recently said "Don't underestimate Biden's ability to" "F things up". Those are his actual words

Not to mention all he did for Hunter & Burisma and it's nefarious look at best & totally illegal at worst.

You must be deeply into conspiracy theories to believe this. If any of this were true, why are there no charges or convictions?

You do realize that you just mindlessly believe made up stories you read on right wing websites, right?

“I helped screw up Washington. Let me help you navigate it.”

Two P.R. Experts at F.D.A. Have Been Ousted After Blood Plasma Fiasco

The ousted spokeswoman, Emily Miller, had little experience in health care. She had spent years working in Washington for Republicans, including the former Texas Congressman Tom DeLay and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, and as a journalist for One America News, the conservative cable network. She was in her agency post for just 11 days.

The FDA hired someone from OAN to be their spokesperson?

I think someone from OAN was appointed to be their spokesperson, actually. From what I have seen, the FDA were not pleased with the selection.

Like the naturalization ceremony. No consent.

Yeah, but what the GOP realizes is that relatively few people will double-check to see that the tenants hadn't given their consent, and their base simply won't care. People on this board will know that Trump & Company lied about all this, but very few people elsewhere (and especially in Trump's base) will see it or know about it. Basically, you can tell one blatant lie after another, because by the time the truth catches up to it relatively few people will care, or will follow up to see that it's a lie. It's how Trump has lived his entire life, and it works most of the time, unfortunately.

DHS withheld July intelligence bulletin calling out Russian attack on Biden’s mental health

The draft bulletin, titled “Russia Likely to Denigrate Health of US Candidates to Influence 2020 Election,” was submitted to the agency’s legislative and public affairs office for review on July 7. The analysis was not meant for public consumption, but it was set to be distributed to federal, state and local law enforcement partners two days later, on July 9, the emails show.

Just one hour after its submission, however, a senior DHS official intervened.

“Please hold on sending this one out until you have a chance to speak to [acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf]," wrote DHS Chief of Staff John Gountanis, according to an email obtained by ABC News.

That was nearly two months ago. But the bulletin was never circulated.

Louis DeJoy’s rise as GOP fundraiser was powered by contributions from company workers who were later reimbursed, former employees say

Louis DeJoy’s prolific campaign fundraising, which helped position him as a top Republican power broker in North Carolina and ultimately as head of the U.S. Postal Service, was bolstered for more than a decade by a practice that left many employees feeling pressured to make political contributions to GOP candidates — money DeJoy later reimbursed through bonuses, former employees say.

Five people who worked for DeJoy’s former business, New Breed Logistics, say they were urged by DeJoy’s aides or by the chief executive himself to write checks and attend fundraisers at his 15,000-square-foot gated mansion beside a Greensboro, N.C., country club. There, events for Republicans running for the White House and Congress routinely fetched $100,000 or more apiece.

Two other employees familiar with New Breed’s financial and payroll systems said DeJoy would instruct that bonus payments to staffers be boosted to help defray the cost of their contributions, an arrangement that would be unlawful.

It's notable that this is coming up again because this guy came forward to claim that Trump never disparaged members of the military.

The thing about surrounding yourself with liars, grifters, and criminals is, their word isn't really worth anything.
