Official Trump Swamp Thread: Still Corrupt as Fuck

This is kind of a nothing in and of itself, aside from the socialism aspect of it. Of course a farm bill is going to help rural counties (which are predominantly Republican) over urban counties (predominantly Democrat). Looking at a single bill is worthless from that aspect. If there was an urban renewal program out there, I'm sure most of that money would go to blue counties. Now, if there were more applicants from blue counties that did not receive funds in favor of red counties, that would also be something to talk about.

While it is no surprise that most of the aid is going to rural red counties instead of more blue urban ones, it is nonetheless worth noting due to the socialism aspect, as the GOP piously claims to be opposed to these massive handouts (like, say, the stimulus bill.) It's also worth noting that one major reason that all this money was given to farmers to begin with is due to Trump's disastrous trade wars with China and elsewhere.

But HUNTER BIDEN may or may not have had a laptop picked up by somebody that shows some kind of China-related influence peddling that his dad likely had nothing to do with. Also, LibDems are snobs, socialists, something something, so I guess I'll have to vote for Trump again. Damn you liberals for forcing me to vote for Trump - if only you gave me better choices! Everything is always your fault!

the thing is that Biden can use it the same way if he wins and the Republican would go crazy.

Susan Collins thinks Trump learned his lesson though.

It's basically a return to the old nineteenth-century Spoils System started by Andrew Jackson, and which was such a disaster in so many ways that in the 1880s it was finally reformed into the Civil Service system that we have today. I guess it fits, though, as one of the main goals of Republicans has been to force us all to move backwards to some imagined golden age, in this case the mid-to-late 1800s. I'm sure that our new blindly partisan and obedient government employee system, with loyalty oaths replacing nonpartisan competency tests, will be a yuge success! Bigly!

And I guarantee he won't be asked about this as much as Biden has been asked about "court packing."

He barely took any heat for replacing Sessions after the 2018 election.

Wolf won re-election with 57.7% of the vote in 2018. Trump continues to antagonize swing state Dem governors who are more popular than him.
