Too much individual pressing going on

Need to regroup on what the trigger is for a team press because guys are going off different markers
 
Is Muuss coaching US today? It looks like England is going all out balls to the wall, while the US seems to be taking the nonchalant approach.

Yeah mostly. Playing the national anthem before domestic sporting events is weird nationalism. Playing a national anthem before an international competition makes perfect sense but the lyrics of ours don't quite fit. Other countries' anthems are like "Our country is awesome. Our people are great." But playing it before a match with England is chef's kiss.

There are a lot of national anthems based on military or military events -

France, Italy, Russia, China, Holland, etc.

And several of those have lyrics a lot more questionable than ours.
 
Love our passing and confidence. Given slower play and both teams holding up a lot my guess is our mid go go longer. I’d like to see Dest taken out since on one yellow and then mckennie with Aaronson in for him. Reyna in for haji or weah at 55-60 min mark.
