The Giroud sub made sense but Dembele off instead of Rabiot was asinine. I don’t understand playing Rabiot over Camavinga. Tchouameni and Camavinga are an excellent pair. And as others have pointed out the problem isn’t that France don’t have creative players on the field, it’s that they can’t get or keep the ball.
 
Yeah, I guess there has been that virus. Doesn’t explain everything, but would help explain some of this French performance.

Kit thing also obv had to have been demoralizing.
 
I wonder how much the virus has hurt France. Rabiot and Tchou have been great most of the tournament and they both look slow and indecisive today. Granted, Argentina also has a great midfield, so it could have had no impact.
 
Messi getting his pocket picked for that to happen is painful
