Yep. It's drilled into football players to fall on the ball that they lack all sense in situations like this where it doesn't matter if the opposing team get possession.

i don't. one of the last angles they showed definitely make it look like his momentum stopped at the 1/2 yd. barely got one step forward.
 
The second the blocked punt was recovered on the two I said to my wife, WF won't score again this half.
