Thought it would be a good idea for everyone to have one place to go to read all of press about our debacle. Here are three, I'll let others add the rest. (Copied and put all links in this post)

"Fact: It hasn't worked out at all.
Wake Forest, the school that made seven NCAA tournaments from 2001 to 2010, has finished last, tied for last and tied for ninth in the 12-school ACC in [Redacted]'s three seasons. He's won 11 games against ACC opponents and lost 42. Attendance is down. Fans are angry. A "Fire [Redacted]" advertisement appeared in the student newspaper. A website supporting the cause was created. And yet Wellman won't get up from this table. In the same week that UCLA and Minnesota fired coaches who made the NCAA tournament, Wellman is publicly backing a coach who can't sniff any postseason tournaments. It must be demoralizing for WFU fans who care deeply about the program......
And this is the school Chris Paul attended!"

"This is a profoundly strange decision.
With each passing year, the hire has looked worse, and Wellman and [Redacted]'s ability to address it less grounded in reality, than ever. [Redacted] once told our own Andy Katz that he studied Indiana's turnaround under Tom Crean as a model for Wake Forest, the vast differences between the two situations (NCAA sanctions and recruiting probation vs. neither; a coach who had revitalize a program at Marquette vs. one with two .500-or-better seasons in his career) going casually unmentioned. Wake's decision to close down the coach's show to avoid call-in criticism made Wellman sound disinterested in his fans' feedback; his telling a reporter that Wake Forest had always had empty seats in November and December felt like an insult. This is a shame. Wellman is a 22-year veteran, the athletic director of the year in 2008, the same athletic director who hired Prosser in the first place, who created the expectations for a consistently competitive Wake hoops program. Now many Wake fans want him gone, too. "

Wake Forest sticks with Jeff [Redacted], ignoring the mountain of evidence it needs a fresh start

"That Wellman's stamp of approval is enough to supersede the discontentment of legions of Wake Forest fans is a source of great frustration for [Redacted]'s many detractors. By keeping [Redacted] for a fourth season, Wellman is risking the future of the Demon Deacons program on his unwavering belief in a man who has done little to prove he is deserving of such faith.
For Wake Forest's sake, better days need to come soon because it doesn't look like the end of the [Redacted] era is upon us.
Right now, much of the fan base is upset. If losing under [Redacted] continues much longer, that anger may turn to apathy."

This thread is a great idea. I'd recommend bolding the source & article title of each submission (and possibly adding/sorting by an italicized date)

Stickied as well. Do we need to put in the links for the ads as well?

I don't think so. Doing so would attach OGB to #BuzzOut directly, I'd rather the message be inherent/implied through the discussion.

Few coaches have torched a program like Jeff [Redacted] at Wake Forest.

The proud program of Chris Paul, Tim Duncan and Muggsy Bogues has become an ACC laughingstock in [Redacted]'s three seasons finishing 12th, ninth and 10th, respectively. [Redacted] has posted a record of 34-60, including 11-37 in conference play. To make matters worse, he has won only one ACC road game with the Deacs.

No, that's not a typo.

This is the best quote of all (been pasted elsewhere, but always worth pasting again, because it says it so well:

from CBSSPORTS:

"...Holding on too long, hoping our bad decision turns out OK even though there's almost no evidence to suggest it'll get better (or, at least, good enough to make it right). Wellman is back at the ATM, middle of the night, splitting nines and doubling down against a face. Needless to say, there's a better-than-great chance he's going to exit here broke, probably next March. But he's not willing to admit that now. So he's standing strong while the other guys at the table shake their heads and feel badly for him, wondering why he didn't just walk away gracefully when the damage was bad but not as bad as it ultimately got."

Don't know how to do it but someone should add on this thread David Glenn's comparison yesterday of Buzz with Boston College's Donahue.

Gary Parrish was on ESPN radio last night and discussed this Wellman article for a while. He said that normally when he writes an article critical of a coach or an AD he'll receive both positive and negative responses from his readers, he then said that this is the first time that he can remember when 100% of the responses were in favor of his take down of Wellman. Seriously, he said not one person challenged anything he wrote in the article. There's a first for everything...
