Abeku Wilson opened fire on two managers at the Equinox fitness club Saturday afternoon shortly after the high-end gym fired him for “work place violence” and escorted him off the premises at the Merrick Park mall, police said Sunday.

The 33-year-old returned to the gym with a hand gun and fatally shot two supervisors: Janine Ackerman, 35, the general manager; and Marios Hortis, 42, the gym’s fitness manager.

That’s fair. I expect conservatives to talk about a mental health problem while continuing to block and cut funding for mental health.

Seems like a lot of guns for a 14 year old, but #America.

Thank God for his classmate's heroic actions. I just hope that's enough to stop this kid and take away his guns.
 
Since he didn’t actually shoot anyone, can we talk about guns now? Or is it still too soon to politicize this untended tragedy?
