Out of bounds rule

Thank you for starting this thread. It was obvious that the receiver was out of bounds before coming back into the field of play and catching the ball.

And of course the announcers fail to mention this at all. The fact that the refs completely ignored it is just icing on the shit cake that was this game.

The announcers mentioned it after their director in the booth called them a dumbass but by that time the refs were coming back on to annouce the call would stand. A confederacy of dunces.

Under NCAA rules, it's ok to get pushed out and come back in.

On the other hand, stepping out on your own and catching the ball is not.

In either case you must establish yourself back in bounds which did not happen here. Should have been an incomplete pass.

The game wasn't over 8 hours ago.

Just one of many times I was screaming at our TV today..

I'm pretty sure I read he was going to be available for an extreme emergency. Didn't see any shots of him on the sideline though.

So Emert or Camp would have been the #3 RB?

Surprised he didn't at least make the trip, even if he didn't dress.

NFL officials know the illegal touching rule

thanks a lot douchebag ACC refs.
