It's legit; it's essentially a 2.5hr episode of Criminal Minds.
 
i just saw it and there are some pretty good twists...when i thought i figured it out, alas i was wrong....of course its one of those movies that doesnt answer every question and leaves stuff up for debate
 
yeah it's usually due to having a not good plot, hence the plot holes. despite those, i'm not surprised it got good ratings. look at "LOST" which was the most epic garbage ever, had the most plot holes of anything i'd ever seen, yet it somehow enthralled the masses.
