Pro Hoops Deacs - Jake LaRavia with 89 points in last three games of the season

Duh. Songaila is an assistant coach for the Spurs.

Jake LaRavia and the Grizz start their preseason schedule tomorrow at the Bucks.
Alondes Williams and the Nets start their preseason schedule on Monday vs. the Sixers.

Jake had 15 points off the bench all in the 2nd half in the Grizz' first preseason game against the Bucks.

Interesting profile on LaRavia. This bit really caught my eye.

The small forward/power forward position is the most loaded and talented it has been in Grizzlies history, with over ten players being able to man one of those two positions. The absolute locks for minutes will be Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks, Ziaire Williams, Brandon Clarke and most likely Santi Aldama after his Summer League and preseason showings.

Now one thing Coach Jenkins has preached since day one of his arrival is his willingness and desire to play position-less basketball, so it’s not far-fetched or out of the realm of possibility that LaRavia could actually be battling for backup shooting guard minutes with John Konchar.

And in all honesty, it seems like his best path to play meaningful minutes this season.

I completely missed that James Johnson signed with the Pacers, his 10th team. As far as I can tell, that puts him second behind Ish (13) on the list of active players who have played for the most teams.

May be an image of 2 people and text that says 'WF WFWS ISH SMITH DENVER NUGGETS CHRIS PAUL PHOENIX SUNS Lun ALONDES WILLIAMS BROOKLYN NETS JAKE LARAVIA MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES WFWS JAMES JOHNSON INDIANA PACERS JOHN COLLINS ATLANTA HAWKS'

Not sure about AFA. He hasn't played since the Bulls traded him in the DeRozan sign-and-trade. The Spurs cut him and he signed a 10-day with the Celtics and never played.

Chaundee Brown is with the G-League Austin Spurs.

Olivier Sarr signed a two-way deal with the Blazers.

Jaylen Hoard is with Hapoel Tel Aviv of the Israeli Basketball Premier League.

Jake drilled a 3 over Cam Reddish for his first NBA basket. Got his first rebound a few seconds later.

JC with 15 pts at the half.

No doubt, proven on the court, you don't want to mess with James Johnson.

Ha, ha, Ish (not an ACC player) out lasts Teague in the league.

And with less than 5 minutes played for the Nugggets, Ish claims the NBA nomad record. He has now officially played for more different NBA teams than any other player.

That was the same way they used him in Summer League.
