Report: Kavanaugh won’t commit to recusal from Trump/Mueller related matters

Certainly lends credence to the idea Republicans have been paving the way for Russian money for awhile now.

Of course it was, but only after the donkeys went nuclear on everyone else and then filibustered Gorsuch, which, by the way, was only the second filibuster of a SCOTUS nominee in history.

Would have been the third, but I guess whatever happened with Garland was somehow more honorable.

But only after the pubs refused to give Garland a hearing for 293 days, which, by the way, was unprecedented in history.

Has Junebug posted his defense of that yet?

What’s the correct number? Are you claiming Republicans don’t filibuster executive nominees more than Democrats? If so, back it up.

did we talk about the Kamala Harris exchange? Please god let them have the goods.

Kavanaugh waited over 1000 days for his hearing in connection with his appointment to the DC circuit. True, he eventually got his hearing, but he wouldn’t have if Kerry had won in 2004. Nominations that fail because the office of the president changes parties happens all the time; it just sucks for the donkeys that application of the Biden/Schumer rule happened to occur with an outgoing donkey president.

Not giving Garland his hearing and vote is the only SC nomination in history to have been treated this way. It was total obstruction and unprecedented.

In addition to judicial nominees, Lott had the Top 6 years of cloture in US history during the Obama Administration. Several of Lott's years of obstruction were greater than the totals of the previous half-century combined.

It appears he lied about the mole and the stolen emails as well
