RJ's political-1947 NYC vaccinated 6M in <1 month -Lin Wood says he's 2nd coming

Wasn’t Conor lamb a favorite for all the radical centrists on here?

He's still better than the Republican. It's a binary choice.

Because someone understands you can't free everyone from prison and operate a modern society on the honor system with zero cops doesn't make them a "radical centrist". It makes you out of touch with reality.

I would not put it past Trump to declare he has a "government in exile" at Mar-A-Lago as the "legitimate" POTUS.

Who would have thought a 76yo guy who doesn't wear a mask, hangs out with people who don't wear masks and travels a lot would test positive?

Rudy has tested positive. He may have infected dozens or hundreds of people directly and could be a one man Covid hot spot.

What a pig!

I think it's a legitimate question to ask if the GOP wouldn't prefer Trump to be in state prison. As long as he is out and has no limits on what he says or does, lots of Republicans are nervous. There are many who want to run for president. There are others who want the madness to end and the only way is to have Trump out of commission.

Also, by having it by a deep blue state, they can blame Dems for jailing Trump while dodging questions of why they didn't speak up and hold Trump accountable for federal crimes he has committed.

RE: #1-does the hierarchy of the GOP want Trump to equal the GOP for four more years?

I don't think the power brokers in the GOP want him around and have more Q supporters in power to deal with if Trump stays around.

Which is why they would want Trump out of the picture.

On another subject, I have to chuckle at the other thread talking about real estate ownership/renting it out is so bad.

Are slumlords evil? Absolutely.

Should they be forced to live in or lose their properties for their actions? You bet.

Do we want the government in charge of proving homes for everyone? Absolutely not. Talk about corruption. I did work with some serious people from Russia right after the fall of the USSR and they told horror stories of having the state in charge of housing. The corruption and pathetic quality of their flats was frightening. That would happen here as well.

There definitely should be more help for middle class families who are renting in metropolitan areas. There should also be a way to help the working poor to enter the ownership market.

Trump is dumb enough that they can control and predict. They should be careful what they wish for as the replacement might be more cunning and sophisticated.

As we often say, you can't make the best shit up. Here's a little bit about the woman who "testified" in Michigan.

"EXCLUSIVE: Star witness in Trump's 'voter fraud' case in Michigan used to strip at Sopranos-inspired club named the Bada Bing, which was shut down after four men - including the manager - were charged with torturing victim in basement"

"*It was closed following a string of incidents, including an attack in 2010 where four men were arrested and charged with torturing a man in the basement
*A source from Carone's hometown of nearby Allen Park described Carone's dancing days as the 'worst kept secret in our little town'
*As exclusively reported by DailyMail.com last week, Carone was initially charged with obscenity and computer crimes
* But the charges were later reduced to a misdemeanor as part of a plea deal with prosecutors"

You couldn't have invented this great spokesperson for Trump.

Trump's seditious group of Republicans better watch out. In the country they are trying to create, they'd all be lined up against a wall and shot for treason.

There is an easy solution to McConnell's refusal to do a "blue state bailout". Let state legislatures and the House pass laws that their taxes cannot be used to subsidize other states. The law should be that no state should be allowed to get more in federal dollars than they contribute in taxes.

States could go to court saying they have standing and are being harmed.

The combination of saying there was no election fraud and not announcing the investigation of Hunter Biden did him in.

Barr covered Trump's ass so many times.

How crazy is the replacement going to be for the next five weeks?

Maybe they should just secede.

How great will it be for Trump not to be able to live at Mar-A-Lago after the presidency? According to the rules HE created to allow Mar-A-Lago to become a club, he can't live there. He can't go back to NYC lest he'll get arrested. Can someone contribute a studio apartment for him?

"In the letter to Palm Beach officials obtained by The Washington Post, the residents cited an agreement Trump signed in 1993 to convert the facility to a private club, which they said bars him from using it as a primary residence. The agreement bars members from spending more than 21 days per year there or for more than seven days straight."

"{“There’s absolutely no legal theory under which he can use that property as both a residence and a club," Glenn Zeitz, a Palm Beach homeowner who did not sign the letter, told the Post.

“Basically he’s playing a dead hand. He’s not going to intimidate or bluff people because we’re going to be there,” Zeitz added."
