Slick Willy: The Chickens Are Coming Home To Roost

How about the way the misrepresented the FBI investigation regarding Hillary's emails? Your portrayal of this being a one way street is mistaken.

Again, all these stories had many demonstrable mistakes. In this one about a dozen people were interviewed and only one has a problem.

In case you're scoring at home, failure to adopt Paul Begala's spinned version = misrepresentation.

OK, I'll bite How did the(y) misrepresent the FBI investigation of Hillary?

Here's the NYT itself admitting the story was "fraught with inaccuracies"

http://publiceditor.blogs.nytimes.c...ccuracies-how-it-happened-and-what-next/?_r=0

Here's what The Atlantic said about the mistakes the NYT made:

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics...er-of-record-fails-to-keep-the-record/399752/

Newsweek Saying the NYT "bungled" the story

This is versus one person out of a story told by a dozen participants saying they got only hers wrong. A person who could make money from the publicity.

I'm not saying the NYT is perfect. I'm saying only one out of a dozen being wrong sounds dubious to me.

Trump won't sue, but the threat of suit against the NYT will keep his supporters in a frenzy. The People reporter accused Trump of lying multiple times and Trump isn't threatening to sue her. His bullying and victimhood shtick is brilliant.

OK, I'm convinced - The NYT can't be trusted when they write about politicians.

Agreed?

Just like you have to take every politician individually, you have to take every article as unique. Some will be good. some will be bad.

Should we take each applicant to college individually, or should we just treat all people of one race one way, and all people of another race another? It's so confusing to live in RJ land...

This is some epic, nonsensical trolling, even for you. Brava!

I'll take that as an admission that you know nothing about the NYT history in such matters. Read up on Marco Rubio's "luxury speedboat" or John McCain's relationship with Vicki Iseman

That's why I said what I said.

Totally understand the Hillary hate, but kinda surprised by the Bubba angle. Dude fucked up, got impeached, Senate acquitted Bubba*, Dems picked up seats in the midterm, Newt got bounced, Livingston was fucking around and had to bow out, and finally ended up with Hastert.

Fast forward 20 years: Dems who loved Bubba in the '90s hated him in 2008 for trashing Obama, Newt got crushed in the 2012 primaries partially because people understood he'd been cheating on his second wife for 5+ years, Cosby happened, and Hastert was buggering teenage boys.

Trump's hardly a choir boy and plenty of skeletons haven't surfaced yet, Bubba's exploits were heavily covered 15-18 years ago, but Newt will ride to the rescue for Trump. No doubt Bubba's still fucking around, but Trump's never been scrutinized at this level. What net new knowledge will topple the Clintons this time when it didn't work 20 years ago?

Warren, Cuban, and Obama rattle Trump every time. Biden and Bubba can too. Do Trump, Newt, and Palin really want a hot war with the Clintons over family values?!?

* WTF would they ever impeach when they didn't have the votes in the Senate to convict? Bubba met Monica during a government shutdown. Pointless Obamacare repeal votes don't look so bad in hindsight. Newt's a Cruz/Boehner combo with a messy personal life that rivals Trump and Bubba. How's he help with women and legislating?
