Are showing out in the NBA this year. Ish is still in the league . LD is playing pro somewhere. Woods , McFarland , Weaver... How could that team get blown out by Maryland in ACCT and Cleveland St.in the first round of NCAA? Were 17-0 and ranked 1 after the win at Clemson. What a waste of the most talented team in school history.

Problem with that team was that they didn't have CMM to go to at crunch time.

Nah, your memory is off, those guys weren't all on the same team at the same time. Just not possible. That's more talent than could be on one team. There, I hope this helps you feel better.

That team was seriously the most dangerous team I ever witnessed as a Wake fan. CP3 days had nice pieces but that 09 team!!?!?! DAMN!!

Teague should have stayed at point when Ish came back from injury.Ish off the bench for 15-18 minutes of havoc would have been the best way to do it. Those two never meshed and in retrospect Teague was clearly the show pony.

Listen, we can dissect this for the next 3 decades, but the bottom line is that no matter how great these guys are in the NBA, it doesn't change the central fact: Chase is spelled with a motherfucking "E" at the end of it. And if it's not, shit's gonna go south.

Teague and Smith worked well together the previous season with Ish at the 1 and Teague at the 2, with Teague at point when Ish needed a blow. When Teague took over the point the next season with early success, a winning rotation was established. When Ish was inserted into the lineup with Teague, the team seemed to flounder, as if questioning who was the leader on the floor? The net result was a team with no leader, especially at the end of the year. Gaudio never seemed to address this problem. For that season, I felt the team would have been better served to bring Ish in for Teague and allow Clark to sub for LD as long as the team was successful. If problems developed, returning Ish to the point and Teague to the 2 could have been attempted as a solution.
