The 2016 Panthers Thread: Keep Pounding

Oh look, reff and bkf agree! Lets go see what jhmd thinks! Its almost like old white conservative dudes don't enjoy seeing flamboyant black people buck the status quo.

Don't mind being flamboyant at all. But if you are going to win with all that dabbing and stuff, then lose with class. What I don't like to see is when players get out there and grand stand on regular stops or regular first downs. If it is a key stop or a key first down on a spectacular play, no problem. But when a DB has a ball he is beat on by 5 yards and it gets over thrown or dropped and he celebrates like he made the play himself, that is total b.s. Cam being a crybaby in the 3rd & 4th quarter when he got hit by the Broncos and then not going for that fumble late in the game showed the league what he was really made of! Just a big wuss afraid to get in there and grab the football when his team was still in the game. Afraid to get hurt and as he said "twist his knee". Come on Cam, you are linebacker size, get in there and mix it up with the big boys--you are going for the damn Super Bowl!

From that video it looks more like he was going to go for the fumble and try and pick it up to do something with it instead of the sensible thing and attempt to fall on it. That mistake is made by lots of different players every year. Once the hand reaches in and Cam loses any ability to pick it up trying to fall on it was already out the window because of the angle he was in.

Yeah, I stand by that. Ware gets his hand on it and knocks it in the other direction right when he would've landed

If anything not diving almost helped as the ball went right near him after Kalil knocked it. If Miller doesn't come in and knock the ball further downfield -- something he had to do to get the ball away from Cam -- Cam or at least the Panthers recover
Lol, you just said it's humorous that people think in a split-second Cam was thinking about all of these variables like potential injury and then you follow up with this post.

Holy cognitive dissonance, Batman.

Edit: Ha, just saw Juice's post.

I'm not saying Cam CHOSE not to dive for the ball because he thought he'd have a better chance of getting it if he didn't, I'm just saying that it almost worked out in our favor anyway and then we wouldn't be talking about this.

Shame I have to constantly explain things for some people. Or at least one person

No way Brady or Peyton dives for a fumble.

Had to go all the way back about a month ago to find that picture.

You're right, instincts take over in that situation. And when things aren't going Cam's way, he's a wuss. Frontrunner.

cam maybe would have felt different if the panthers had brought a sideline knee shack for the sideline

If losing the Super Bowl wasn't enough, now we have to deal with woody emerging from shameville for discounting us and trolling us anew.

That didn't take long.

Cam could have literally said anything to avoid this situation, but he just looks like a shithead now. Making business decisions when TD is out there playing with a terminator hand. Not a good look.

Funny that TD isn't upset about it.

As if he would say anything about it. Denver's win probability jumped from 78% to 95.6% in one play. I'm glad that wasn't my quarterback.

You won't need to worry about Tony Romo making mistakes in the SB.

You may never have to worry about Cam making mistakes in the Super Bowl again either. Why throw away a once in a lifetime opportunity to save yourself? I just don't get it.
Naaaaaah, we will be back

51 is more our number, anyways.
