^ I used the Higdon novice plans to go from up running 4-6 miles, to a half marathon, and then to a full. Its really simple to follow and modify around your schedule. I think I ran 22 before my first marathon. At its peak your probably running 7 or 8 hours a week. But it works, I went from being a novice runner to crushing my first marathon.
Also yesterday was the first day of Manifest and mine's 16 week half-ironman training plan. We did the 20 week plan last year until the race was cancelled two weeks out due to Florence. I modified it a little bit to where we train 5 days a week instead of 6, and we only do each exercise twice/week instead of three times, as we both were concerned about time constraints. Its hard to follow on here, but I'm gonna post it below if anyone who has completed an Ironman would like to provide feedback. RI - resting interval
