“At Space Camp, each attendee experiences the trials of real-life astronauts who simply are not provided the resources they need to explore outer space,” said director Deborah Barnhart, noting that campers get a firsthand look at what it’s like to pursue cutting-edge astronomical research on a budget that, when adjusted for inflation, is a mere fraction of what it was in the 1960s. “Our campers endure constant setbacks throughout their week here, from engaging in spaceflight training modules that can be shut down at a moment’s notice, to working tirelessly on a solar probe project only to be informed that an across-the-board spending freeze has led to the indefinite suspension of their work.”

“Kids will walk away from a week at Space Camp knowing exactly what it’s like to be an American astronaut,” she added.

Barnhart told reporters that the modernized camp offers attendees an array of hands-on activities that include designing next-generation spaceships, searching for virtual extrasolar planets, and building a robotic Mars rover, any one of which could be effectively derailed by an abrupt mandate that the research and development process be made more cost-effective.

Oh this is amazing looking at the description and justification section in the amendment. Especially because it has it juxtaposed to the continuing resolution funding as well as the previous house and senate bills for 2017.

-50 for highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreak there's enough balance left to respond to current TN cases (don't worry there won't be any more)

-136, food insecurity grant (huge famine occurring right now, we will ignore)

-49 end rural farming business grants (the people that elected him get the Fuck you, interesting that the house actually looked for 18 million more)

-65 pacific coast salmon fund (this is just funny, no salmon for you)

-350 NSF to reduce grants given, no explanation.

DOE -37 Science could absorb a reduction (that's it)

-377 americorps not a core function to promote volunteerism

If Salmon is so important, business will find a way to make Salmon. My tax dollars don't need to do it. We can't be that far off from being able to clone fish, can we?

I put it in because kinda funny, but also because those type of things are never getting cut there are definitely representatives in the district that would fight and die for that money.

So, which is it?
Eggs good or bad?

These republican villains set up nicely for a movie about a serial killer targeting them. Killing them based off of what the represent or voted for. Guy that introduced bill to hunt hibernating bears, killed by a bear while he sleeps. Rex, drowns in a barrel of oil. Pruitt killed by inhaling toxic fumes from burning coal, and so on.
