Things just got awesome: Ben Carson

Part of the "theory" on Carson's candidacy is that he can draw at least 17% of Black votes which allegedly will swing the election to the GOP. Have no idea how the wingnuts came up with that magic number, but he's going to scare off more people than he attracts if he keeps saying nutty stuff like Obamacare is the worst thing since slavery. Christie, Walker, Jeb, and Kasich have to be stoked that another chucklehead will splinter early voters and donors.

The "worse thing since slavery" comment and comparing homosexual behavior to murder and pedophilia are going to follow him forever.

If that 17% is every black people in a swing state, maybe. Most black people live in red states.
 
I want this guy in the White House with McConnell and boehner running congress. Let's get the whole thing rolling and see the conservative utopia unfold before us. End abortion, end entitlements, end dept of education, end ACA, privatize SS, end fed income tax, full force of military in Iraq, wall and moat at Mexican border with mass deportations.

Seriously, let's do this and get it over with.

All of it. I feel the like the only way we can right the ship is to implement all that craziness, watch it fail, and then shut these goons up for good. Like when you catch a kid smoking and make him smoke the whole pack to make him sick.

He also said Obama might cancel 2016 elections because of "anarchy". Carson racks up nutty claims faster than Michelle Bachmann.
 
Saw a "Ben Carson 2016" bumper sticker yesterday. White circle, red lettering. Was on a Hyundai with California plates on Highway 80 just below Sacramento. Driver looked like Lisa Loopner from the old Saturday Night Live skits. Didn't see if Bill Murray was riding shotgun. Saw a Palin 2016 bumper sticker on an SUV about a year ago.

I've seen a couple "Bernie '88!" stickers around here. Can't tell if they're a current gift shop item or if people are just fucking dedicated to their cars.
 
Seemed odd to me because there were McCain and Paul bumper sticker in 2008 and Romney and Paul bumper stickers in 2012 in Northern California, but there were never Huckabee, Cain, Bachmann, Santorum, or Perry bumpers tickers. The McCain stickers stayed on cars for a year or two, but the Romney bumper stickers all vanished the day after the election.
 
I mean does the GOP seriously believe that this guy is or can be a legitimate candidate? Your run-of-the-mill moderate Republican probably has trouble voting for this guy, much less any moderates, and you can absolutely forget any Democrats voting for him.
 
Carly Fiorina said yesterday she's considering running for President, She ran HP into the ground and took a $20 Million golden parachute on the way out, so she doesn't need the money like Herman Cain did. Never heard a single HP employee say anything good about Fiorina. She got booted off the McCain/Palin for (honestly) saying that neither McCain or Palin were qualified to run a multinational corporation. Carly ran for Senate in 2010 against Babs Boxer (who's a political hack and not very well respected in CA) and lost by 10 points. Every time Carly brought up HP, Boxer simply said, "Yeah, but you destroyed a beloved company". Previously heard that Fiorina was contemplating a run for CA Governor. Kevin Johnson, Kamala Harris, and Gavin Newsom would all crush her. Romney ran for political office four times and lost three times. These people have zero self-awareness.

No, but your Fox News watching average Pub loves him. So he'll get trotted out with Santorum and whoever else until he inevitably says something stupid.
