Time Travelin' Nic Cage Mafia: CIVS WIN

That was the worst day 1 run of a player I have ever seen and everyone involved in it should be ashamed of themselves

BRUH

I tried to save you

But...why you no claim?

Also we silenced knight the day he claimed.

But RSF didn't silence him. He told him he was supposed to be silenced, then didnt silence him and gave us the option to silence someone who hadn't talked yet (tejas).

That sure worked out well for you

Here's loki's role. I was happy with this one.

You are Nic Cage in 8mm (Civ, Watcher)

You are Nic Cage in 8mm, a mystery in which you play a private investigator hired to investigate a murder, ending up getting yourself entangled in a plot concerning underground pornography. In this game, each night, you’ll be able to select one player to watch, and will be told of any visitors they have that night. If there are visitors, just as you killed Joaquin Phoenix in the film, you’ll have the option to kill one of them, but you will lose the ability to watch anybody in the future. If there were multiple visitors, the player you kill by this method will be selected at random. If additional players visited that you could not see (i.e., by ninja movement), they will not be eligible to be killed by this method.

So how the hell did I end up visiting Chic?

Oh you'll love this. I bussed nonny and chic. RSF decided to change what a bus driver does and sent you chic's name.

It actually ended up causing more confusion and being in our favor.

he disagrees

Can we know the actual role for tic? That seems extremely powerful given he had a BPV and was a full cop (combined with the 3/4 cop earlier).

Sorry about the tic role dumbtell. I totally read that wrong and had most of the game

That being said I still maintain chic was the play there, even though dv7 was Indy. I might be wrong but I'm gonna trust a 75% cop in a 4-1 scenario over lynching an unknown. Dv7 can go next day at 2-1

I got killed by DV for saying "bees". In hindsight I can't believe I was the only one, he was hammering it.

I wouldn't have claimed if I was here but, I legitimately got pulled away and wasn't worried about it because I was in zero danger whatsoever

and then in 5 minutes I was lynched.

Yeah, this one really sucked b/c knight wouldn't have able to release his investigation and then would have been hit that night (same with tic getting silenced and then hit).

Sure. It was basically a character cop + bpv. Designed to not be able to distinguish between civ/indy for the most part.

You are a young time travelin’ Nicolas Cage (Civ, Role Cop w/ BPV)

You’re the Best Goddamn Actor in the Universe. Or, well, you’re going to be. It’s summer 1980, and you’re a 16-year old kid who is still 2 years away from getting his big break. You’re also really smart, because you’re Nic Cage, and you invented a time machine. You’ve spent all summer traveling throughout your career and hoarding various scripts from your future roles. Unfortunately, your time machine had some, er, flaws, and in a few instances, you accidentally traveled to some much darker timelines, where you are not the Best Goddamn Actor in the Universe, but instead actually a fucking joke that nobody respects.

You eventually made your way back home to summer 1980 prime, with a duffel bag of scripts and film in tow. The scripts are all mixed up, and you can’t tell which scripts came from which timeline without reading them in some detail. Now, it’s your job to pick some roles, and figure out which ones are from the timeline in which you continue to be the Best Goddamn Actor in the Universe, and which ones are from the timeline in which you become utter shite.

Each night, you may select one player to visit (script to read / film role to watch / I am stretching this premise hilariously thin, just go with it). You will be told the name of the film, as well as a brief synopsis of it. You should be careful here; even some of the very real roles in this universe (where you are the Best Goddamn Actor) could be missteps trying to sink you.

Even still, as Young Time-Traveling Nic Cage is a Very Serious Actor, you will then playtest the script a bit, spending the entire following day in character for the role. You will be required to use at least two quotes from the script while posting.

Lastly, the self-confidence that comes with time travel is empowering. You now know that, as I’ve said already, at the end of the day, you can probably afford a few clunkers. After all, you have a duffel bag full of mostly proven hits. If a Worst Timeline script gets to you, you’ll survive. How this manifests in this game is: You have a BPV.

TIC was money at the end. Also a shoutout to loki for switching his vote based on tic's logic. I'm not sure I would have.
