Is playing meaningful minutes on the #8 team in the nation. Jus' sayin' ... a very Merry Christmas indeed.

Yeah. When he wanted to go back home to be closer to his family, Buzz should have blocked his release and made him have to sit out 2 years.

Can't blame Tony for leaving, either because of his family situation or because Bz severely hindered his development by rushing him back from injury in the preseason if his freshman year.
I mean I guess 89 wants us to give Bz credit for not blocking the transfer, but doing so would have been an enormous dick move. It's like giving him credit for not beating his wife or stiffing his waitress.

He also hindered Tonys development by being an awful coach

Isn't the story that [Redacted] said CMM would be the starting pg right in front of Tony?

Tony is a good defender and he's on a good team but his numbers are awful.

Irony: incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs. Tony is still playing meaningful minutes on the #8 team in the country. And, yes, his stats are unremarkable. Go figure.

Wasn't even a point on his HS team. I never expected much out of him

If you've watched Villanova games at all this year, Tony doesn't do shit. Madison is better than him now. We are lucky he transferred.

Meaningful minutes? THis is a joke right?

Why? Mitchell has always played PG and he is a pure passing PG. The injury is concerning but his game is not similar to TC at all.

Yeah, that really would have helped him deal with his family members dying

He went from highly ranked to off the radar in a year, like TC. Hope that's the only similarity.

The breeze you're feeling was caused by the point that just sailed swiftly over your head.

That's fair but he is still a RSCI T100 recruit and only fell out of one list, albeit the most popular one. Unfortunately him not playing wont help with that though. But in terms of running a team and setting up team mates... that is seen as Mitchell's biggest strength in the prep ranks while TC was playing 2 guard.
