Totally Unofficial 2017/18 Premier League Thread (NWT)

El OH el at Chelsea fans and main twitter group trying to claim their players have been subjected to worse challenges than what Alonso did on Long. I guess they’re missing the point that a challenge and a malicious stamp aren’t the same thing in terms of the game.
 
With the odds that the current bottom 3 teams (southhampton, stoke, and west brom) likely to go down, it seems like anyone outside the top 7 has a shelf life of about 8ish years before relegation.
Here are the current top 10 Premier LEague teams and their number of consecutive years they have been in the PL...

10) Swansea- 7 years - have scraped by the last 2 years... probably relegated next year
9) West Brom -8 years (toast)
8) Stoke - 10 years (likely toast)

and the rest below are never going to be relegated....
7) Man City -16
6) Chelsea - 29
5) tottenham - 40
4) man city -43
3)liverpool - 56
2) everton - 64
1) arsenal - 99

Bailly, Young, Matic, Alexis, Lukaku all on the bench. Valencia not in the 18, nor is Mata.

So is this just rotation or is Jose still trying to figure out his team with 5 games left to play?

All that is left is the FA Cup, might as well rotate a few days before they play.
 
Only if you firmly believe players must fit the system instead of the other way around.

1st is decided. 2nd pretty much too. Top 4 squared away
3rd/4th some intrigue for auto CL spot
5th locked
Can't see arse falling behind Burnley

Bottom 3 pretty much decided
