Just finished it last night (we just subscribed to HBO NOW a few weeks ago) and its was okay. Actually better than I expected. Thought the wifey flashbacks and Junius' confession were fairly meh, but enjoyed the back in forth between Dorff and Ali. Thought both were really strong actors, as was the super milfy writer wife.
It is not anything approaching Season 1, but it is far better than Season 2. Wouldn't mind if they made another one, maybe focusing on a female detective. That wasn't the mistake of Season 2, taking it out of the Deep South was. That's the whole charm of the series, the open spaces and mysticism of the region. Its gotta stay in that area.
