Tuition Forgiveness

Really it is the opposite. Forgiven loans are always taxable unless they specifically are not. The feds apparently opted out of taxation of forgiven student loans. So at the state level Mississippi isn't actively changing anything, they are just not changing the status quo. The actual question is what states are going to proactively exempt forgiven student loans from taxation.

saw that Republicans are trying to line up some lawsuits to block this

2&2 and every other shitass republican: TAXATION IS THEFT (but please federal gubmint bail us out on this water emergency that we caused and taxes are cool as long as they are only for struggling young debt-ridden people).

If both parties were dicks like Republicans are, there would be a mass uprising from CA wondering why their tax dollars are paying for water problems in shithole states.

Exactly how are *states* going to legally block *federal* loan forgiveness?

Jackson is 83% black. Fairly sure they don't care about this water emergency

I’m sure they’re for government policies that widen the racial gap.

Ads up here claiming Biden is hiring 80,000 IRS agents to harass middle class families to pay for sometime else's law degree. So that's something.

If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.
