Two soccer questions

rj doesn't have a significant other in his life, so he doesn't understand that. Poor fella.

You're just wrong about that buddy boy.

The past three days have been a godsend to our relationship. Ricky's been ramming me like a 25-year old. It went on for 4 minutes last night till he just collapsed in my arms crying. He puts so much energy into these discussions that sometimes at the end of the day he doesn't have anything left for me. So I'm grateful for the three-day suspension as a way to recharge our sex life.

Ricky, how about you leave the Gateway desktop alone and come back to bed?

This is a pretty cool thread actually. I like that a dude started asking soccer questions and then got a messageboards red card. And listen, I think telling someone to commit suicide is a good tool to have in your toolbox and I'm always impressed when someone pulls it out (and believe me, I say it myself to my wife's midwife at least once a week), but I think you gotta keep it civil when you're talking soccer. Because when you get a little out of control, a soccer dude is always ready to take a dive and make your pay for it. And that's what happened here. That guy who got told to commit suicide milked it in a way that some of the great Brazilians like Goalo and Pele and Dribbly would've been proud of. "Masterful gamesmanship, old chap" as they say in Scotland, where they fucking invented shin guards.

I look at that as a great thing about messageboards though. A guy comes here to ask some soccer question and what happens? He doesn't just get an answer in words or simple explanations, he actually gets showed in real time what its like to be a soccer player. He gets the old red card/banned maneuver and now he feels like Zinedine Zidane. What could be a better soccer answer than that? That's the beauty of planet Earth and that's why we all keep living our lives no matter how random things can seem, because sometimes symmetry is not confined to math books. Amen. God bless.

admitting you're wrong and apologizing are different -- trust me, I'm married and I know

I am not now, nor have I ever thought of sleeping with DeacMan.

You are correct about the difference between here and a wife/girlfriend.

By the way, go to Amazon and buy a copy of For Roseanna. That movie has worked multiple times for me. Every one of my friends who has bought it says it got them out of trouble with their wife/girlfriend.

How dare you insult sweet, sweet Sapphire like that

the gist is you didn't apologize, you said you were wrong. not the same thing.

This post alone almost makes this thread worth it.

HOF post

I've already broken a couple of Vegas casinos who took prop bets on how long I'd live. I'm playing with house money already.

I haven't shown an iota of stress about this. As was pointed out to me by about four of five people over the past few days, what I said pales in comparison to what is routinely posted about and towards me by the cowardly little bitches who hide behind the anonymity of "tags".

I made a mistake and admitted I was wrong. They are such pussies that they refuse post what they say with their names on it.

Which tag exactly (on this thread at least) is worse than telling someone to go kill themselves?

Did I say this thread specifically?

Also reading is fundamental - " As was pointed out to me by about four of five people over the past few days"

I don't read tags. It's what others told me.
