This is a fascinating group of people. e.g., Robert Schnieder, the NMH record producer and the singer and song writer for Apples in Stereo, is now a math professor at Michigan Tech. He got his PhD in mathematics at Emory and invented an new musical tuning based on the logarithmic function (https://www.mtu.edu/math/department/faculty-staff/faculty/schneider/). I cannot wait to see this movie, somewhere.

Currently listening to last night's Phish show - they sound really good for a summer tour opener. I think spring tour and Mike and Trey's solo tours have them primed up. They didn't really take any big risks (that I've heard so far), but the song selection is cool and they sound good. Bodes well for the rest of summer tour!

Jack White's performance on SNL from a few years ago was the first one that came to mind for me.

Here's another one of my favorites. Peak Sturgill. If you didn't already know who he was, you did now. Dude is surfing the organ, drummer loses a symbol, Sturgill spikes the guitar. Lots going on here.
